Why we started
Be an Angel is a brand of Ientra Business Solutions Private Limited, a Bangalore-based company incorporated in 2016. Bangalore is known as the hub for startups, with a strong ecosystem of high-growth companies. Yet every day many new startups need more resources to stay afloat and grow as planned. The investing community is active and growing, but it is not enough to meet the demands of the many excellent startups in the city.
Be an Angel is an initiative to close this gap. It is an early-stage investing platform where we identify prospective startups in the pilot phase and support them with the funding and mentoring they need to prepare for future phases of growth.
Many people are fascinated by startup success stories and wish to be part of one, but identifying the right startups is a challenge for many investors. Be an Angel thoroughly screens and vets startups before placing them in front of investors, which removes a great deal of work for them. We guide investors in the right direction, explain the pros and cons of angel investing, mentor them on tools to evaluate a company, and provide the opportunity to co-invest alongside seasoned VCs and angel investors.

We are building a supportive community of doers, thought leaders and disruptors. We foster, mentor and empower each other, especially new angel investors. The landscape of Indian startups is not easy to navigate, and we bring years of experience, our contacts and proven processes.
